Yamaha R1/R1M 2015–19 Rear Wheel Quick Change Kit

Make rear wheel changes faster, smoother and easier with the L74 rear wheel quick change system for the Yamaha R1 and R1M 2015–2019.

Designed for track day riders and racers, the L74 system helps simplify rear wheel removal and refitting by keeping key components correctly positioned during the wheel change.

This complete Yamaha R1/R1M quick change kit combines an L74 captive underslung caliper hanger, quick release spindle with pull cup, modified LighTech chain adjusters, wheel support components, captive rear wheel spacers and a performance rear brake caliper with HEL brake line.

The kit also includes a brake disc and traction ring carrier, with additional carriers available for spare wheels.

You will receive the following:

  • New L74 captive underslung caliper hanger
  • New L74 quick release spindle with fitted pull cup
  • New LighTech chain adjusters, modified and fitted with captive nut
  • New Performance Rear Caliper (Grey, Black or Nickel)
  • 1 x brake disc and traction ring carrier (additional carriers available for spare wheels)
  • New L74 wheel rest plate for the sprocket side
  • 1 pair of L74 captive rear wheel spacers (additional spacers available for spare wheels)
  • New HEL brake line and all fittings (select ABS from the drop-down menu if you intend to retain ABS)

The L74 system is designed to reduce the hassle involved in conventional rear wheel removal and refitting.

This is particularly useful for track day and race bikes where wheels and tyres may need to be changed regularly.

Designed and manufactured in the UK, L74 quick change components are engineered specifically for each motorcycle application.

We aim to dispatch all Quick Change Systems within 20 working days but as we make a lot to order this could be up to 6 weeks.

These Kits are designed to be used with standard wheels. If you use after market wheels please get in touch before purchasing
