Make rear wheel changes faster, smoother and easier with the L74 quick release spindle and axle block kit for the BMW M1000RR 2021 onwards.

Designed for track day riders and racers, this kit provides a quick release spindle solution for riders who want to retain their original BMW OEM rear caliper hanger and sprocket-side support plate.

The L74 system replaces the conventional rear wheel spindle arrangement with our quick release spindle, fitted pull cup and precision-engineered axle blocks, helping simplify rear wheel removal and refitting.

You will receive the following:

  • L74 quick release spindle with fitted pull cup
  • L74 axle blocks with captive nut
  • L74 Adjuster pins x 2

Why fit an L74 quick release system?

The L74 quick release system is designed to reduce the hassle involved in conventional rear wheel removal and refitting.

The pull-out spindle design allows for quicker and easier spindle removal, while the L74 axle blocks and captive nut help simplify the wheel change process.

This is particularly useful for track day and race bikes where wheels and tyres may need to be changed regularly.

Retain Your OEM Components

This kit is specifically designed for BMW M1000RR owners who wish to retain their existing OEM rear caliper hanger and sprocket-side support plate rather than converting to an L74 underslung caliper arrangement.

Please note: This kit does not include a rear caliper hanger, rear brake caliper or sprocket-side support plate. It is intended for use with the original BMW OEM components.

Designed and manufactured in the UK, L74 quick release components are engineered specifically for each motorcycle application.
